Our Grade 1 Ballet students performed to a Russian inspired folk dance, Kalinka during DancePot 1st Charity Concert in DPAC Theater, Empire Damansara on Nov 8 & 9, 2014.

It was their first time performing with their character shoes. Character shoes are firstly introduced to students entering Grade 1 Ballet as part of their RAD syllabus.

Our Primary Ballet students mainly age 6, performing to an Oriental inspired dance during DancePot 1st Charity Concert in DPAC Theater, Empire Damansara on Nov 8 & 9, 2014.

We saw these bamboo baskets with caricature face on them when we were in Hanoi, Vietnam once & it gave us an instant idea turning it into a dance for our students. Special thanks to Ms. Hoi Ling for helping us to specially hand drawn each bamboo baskets.

After only 3 months in training, we tried to put one of our Accelerated Ballet student (Jin Yee, age 11) on the stage performing to Princess Florine Variation from Sleeping Beauty during DancePot 1st Charity Concert in DPAC Theater, Empire Damansara on Nov 8 & 9, 2014.

Still much work & time needed but at least we gave our students an opportunity to try it on our very own stage.
