New School Hip-Hop or also known as L.A Style is currently one of the most commercial street dance style across the globe. Focusing on musicality and often inspired by lyrical content, New School Hip-Hop is smooth, sharp and precise. It also takes a large amount of control and power in order to execute movements appropriately and often includes a theatrical element to incorporate feeling and emotion.
A picture and a frame can tell a million stories, as it just depends on what we make of it. I immediately fell in love with 2 things prior to this creation - the beauty of Ed Sheeran's melodious rendition, and the concept that evolved from it. My routine, like the song, is really about that feeling of when you love someone so hard, but know you just can't have him or her no matter what. And that pain, or amazing sensation I would rather say, must be kept somewhere, hence the foundation behind this choreography. If ever this happens, fear not as we can just keep this love in a photograph, where we can create memories for ourselves.
